Product Description
Fire retardant Birch plywood is treated by special chemicals that make it unable to oxidize. It makes it hard to burn. Where applied, the fire retardant plywood will char when on fire but will not burn. Thus, it can significantly reduce the progress of a fire.
Key Features: All layers of veneers are soaked in a fire retardant liquid chemicals solution prior to gluing and pressing. This method of treatment is more permanent in service than surface coatings and fire retardant properties can be maintained after cutting and machining.
